Nom de Guerre: safari shirt--sorry, sold out!
Nom de Guerre is a New York based creative collective founded by Holly Harnsongkram, Wil Whitney, Devon Turnbull, and Isa Saalabi. The concept of the collective is to combine basic and diverse influences from art, fashion, and various New York City subcultures to create a composite culture and product.

Nom de Guerre has never been short of neither concept nor sophisticated style, with their "Under the Open Sky" Spring/Summer 2008 line is a bold testament to this. The Manhattan-based fashion house's latest is, as usual, utilitarian and minimalist in quality, but as opposed to drawing from a more militaristic palette as they have in the past, this spring they'll pull from the "American idea of Manifest Destiny and its bygone Industrial Age inspired the clothes—when blue collar Americans wore suits and rolled up their sleeves."

Nom de Guerre has a passion for production and an interest in concepts that translates directly into excellence. This Safari Shirt is made of a beautiful Japanese fabric. The epaulettes and raised buttons are a nice touch.
